We are interpreting our designs on the run way @ The Event Show​2015 by Tries Bien Events, as we celebrate womanhood.

Women over the years have transcended their customary roles as home builders and have grown to be powerful forces to reckon with. They have turned into excellent CEOs, Directors, founders of successful business empires and influential public figures while maintaining the home front. As visual beings, women have a strong attachment to fashion and it plays a key role in interpreting how they think.

We are showcasing our collections dubbed “Mmayenufok”.  This is coined from the indigenous Efik dialect of the people of Calabar meaning “boss lady” or “madam of the house”.

Meet The Creative Director

Mrs. Lovelyn Chris Ita is the Creative Director for Luvita Creations. She holds a B.A degree in History and International Relations and a PGDE from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in same University. In 2009, she acquired professional training as a fashion stylist.  She draws inspiration from Diane von Fürstenberg (DVF) for her glamour and confidence to be the woman she wants to be through her designs.

“The seamstresses of today are the designers of tomorrow”, this was the humble beginning of Luvita creations in 2008; over the years we have been thorough, learnt the ropes of designs and finally launched our bespoke and ready-to-wear clothing label on the 26^th April, 2015, with  production factory and  retail outlets in Calabar, Nigeria. Today, Luvita creations is a one stop fashion design house that caters for the overall fashion needs of individuals. Luvita creations equally consults and run a fashion design academy for persons passionate about learning the act of fashion design and style.

At Luvita Creations, “the difference between style and fashion is quality”. We are poised to see ladies well dressed and put together appropriately.  Our vision is to become a qualitative global brand with retail outlets in different countries with our bespoke and ready to wear design of African fabrics with a western touch.
